The City Dance Festival Stuttgart: Two Days of Dance, Music, Culture & Pure Joy

On June 5th and 6th, 2026, Stuttgart made history.

For the very first time, the city came alive for The City Dance Festival — a two-day celebration of dance, music, culture, community and the undeniable energy that happens when people come together. Hosted by Amabenz Stuttgart in collaboration with Underground Soul Cypher and Stadt Stuttgart, the inaugural festival welcomed more than 500 visitors over two unforgettable days. And if there is one word that captures the weekend, it is joy.

The people came with the hunger for dance and got well fed.

People from different walks of life, communities and ethnicities came together to create a beautiful moment.

From electrifying dance battles and jaw-dropping performances to free workshops, music, food, drinks and countless moments of laughter, The City Dance Festival was more than an event. It was a meeting point for Stuttgart's dance community and everyone who simply wanted to experience something new.

Dancers battled. Beginners learned new moves. Friends met. Strangers became dance partners. Music filled the space. People ate, drank, laughed and celebrated together. Whether you came specifically for the dance battles, wanted to learn something new, came to support a friend or simply wanted to experience Stuttgart from a different perspective, there was something for everyone. And the audience made the festival what it was.

Stuttgart Danced Together
The idea behind The City Dance Festival was simple: bring people together through dance. But what happened over those two days went far beyond what we imagined. From the moment visitors arrived, there was an atmosphere that was difficult to describe — and even harder to leave.
